Watching live music is a magical experience for young children. It is mesmerising to see musicians playing, singers singing, and dancers dancing. Live performance is inspiring and exciting, teaching children about different ways to move and learn. Furthermore, it can be used to encourage all forms of interaction, and spark your child’s imagination in ways you didn’t know were possible. Zumbini – A Feel-Good Dance Class For Toddlers

So far, most of the music classes we have attended have been based on sensory activities and instrument playing. Now that J is walking and running around, I was very keen to try a dance-based movement class. This would allow him to use his whole body to move to the music, and give him the freedom to move around at his leisure. Pumpkin Picking at Hatton Adventure World

Every season and every occasion brings something new when you have a toddler. Watching them experiencing things for the very first time encourages you to look at everything with fresh eyes, enjoying the youthful innocence of childhood! It’s an amazing feeling to watch them learn, explore, laugh, and grow, as new sensations, sights and sounds entice them to play. This month has included another first for us – pumpkin picking! Maybe this is something that was around when we were kids, but I don’t remember it. This year it has been all the craze for little ones. We had to have a piece of the action. Luke, J and I were delighted to be invited to Hatton Adventure World to enjoy their Halloween celebrations, and pick from their vast pumpkin patch.
